Food For Thought



31 July a lady from the heart foundation had came
to room 8 to teach kids about their health and lifestyle eating.


First: when we had walked into the classroom there was
a lady that was sitting down and her name was Adele
and she was a lady that is going to tell the kids about
what we should be eating when we have dinner.


Next: she had been reading some small notes that
had things we should be eating and things we
#shouldn’t be eating. Then: she had showed the
class beans and seeds in a small containers.


After Awhile: Adele had told us to get a partner,
and gave a two partners a coco pops, honey pops,
rice bubbles, oats, wheat bits, muesli and corn flakes.
So: after she had gave it she asked if the two groups
could number each person one to four, and each person
will have to say the G, KJ and MG of the Energy, Fat, Sugar,
Fibre and sodium.


After that: Adele had put us into five groups by saying
the months on when our birthday is on. When we were
in our groups she had gave each group cards that had
pictures of bad drinks and three or four good drinks.
We had to put it in order from good to bad and some
drinks had more than five teaspoons of sugar and the
highest of sugar would be thirty three grams.

Concision: at the end of our lesson the class had
thanked her of what she had told the class what should
go into your body and what shouldn’t. Hope she comes again.
