Final hip hop dance class

Today I had a marvelous time in the school hall because every
Wednesdays my school had a special person coming and teaching 
classes how to do simple dance's that she had made up and her 
name was Izzy. Today was her last day and we had fun with her dancing 
and playing games she even taught my class how to do the alphabet in
dance. Sometimes she would even give out lollies for the best dance skills
and for being good then when it was time to go back to class she had 
given my class 7 day free passes to go to her dance classes and even 
pick which ones we can do like jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, 
acro and even musical theatre she is the best and hope that she comes back. 

Basic Facts

This morning I had done my basic facts and had gotten 72% on stage 6.
This time I had remained the same and I had needed to get just a bit more 
so I could get 80% or more. I have to learn my 1000's because I only get 4 
right and have to improve so that by next year when I am a year 7 I can be 
on stage 7.

Wondering to be Maori

I wonder sometimes what is it like to be Maori and sometimes I dream about being Maori.

If I was Maori I would do somethings that Maori kids do like joining kapa haka groups 

and going out in public and dancing with my friends on stage in front of people. If I was to be

Maori I would try some of the foods that they eat for dinner and lunch.  

Etching

On Friday my class had done etching art. What you first do is think of a theme that you
are going to do and that is easy to draw. Then you can draw it in your book and when 
you are ready you can get a big paper and divided the paper into three. After that you paint 
your paper with three different colours and wait for it to dry. When it's finally dry you ass 
another colour on top, but when adding the paint you have to put a lot of lays on. Then you 
draw with a ice block stick your theme onto your paper while the paint is still dry and add 
some details onto your paper. The colours I had used for the bottom were red, green 
and pink and the paint I used for the top were blue, light green and yellow and for my theme was flowers.

Festive Animation

Food art on a plate

My class topic for term 4 was festival food. I had no ideas from my festival because it all looked very hard and because it would take up my time. My class had used playdough, icing and raisins to make the food. I had made a ice cream in a cup with the sun and a hand trying to get the cup of ice cream. The colours I used were green, yellow, red and blue and I had only used playdoh. I think that this would be good for 5 and 6 year old kids to try and make whatever they want to create.
