Tessellation

Tessellation is having the process or art of tessellations
around the surface. I have created my tessellation by
using three different colours, for the stars I have careful
followed on what I was doing because I didn’t want to mess
it up. When I did the other side I had gone down the line
but diagonal when colouring the square because it looks
better. How I found this work it was a easy pattern to follow
and next time I would want to do a tessellation that is a bit
harder Tessellation can be found in many places and
many people do tessellation because it is a hobby for
most people, tessellation is found everyday surroundings.

Robot art

Here is a art that many kids around the world do because it is famous for it creative. The artist is also famous because of his art using different types of material. It has been around the world for people to have a look and see how creative he is. WHen he does a new art he also use colours that are bright or dark he mix it up because it wouldn't look very nice. The artist is named Karl Apple.

Hot and Cold Colours

Karl Apple he has done this art as well, but this is my one. This art is based on cold and hot colours. I had used the hot colours inside the Tui because it looks warm and not cold. Kids around the world have done this art and had enjoyed it very much and the colours for hot is Pink,Red,Orange and Yellow. The colours for cold is Blue,Purple,Brown and Green.

E-asttle results for term 3 - Strand and number

Strand: in T2 I had a 2P and now I have a 2A - Improved

Number: in T2 I had a 2A and now I have a 3P - Improved

Remaining at a 3P

Today I have done my e-asttle test

on reading and I have remained

to 3P. I hope that next time when

I do the test that I will improve

to a 4B or 4P.

Basic Facts

Today I have done my basic facts. I have

got 55% and have improved from last week

last week I got 47%. I have improved because

I went home after school and practiced what

I needed to improve so I can get a
higher percentages.

Basic facts T3 W8

I have been on stage six from the second
term of the year and I need to make
sure that I am working hard and trying my
best just to get to stage seven. I have gone
backwards in my basic facts, but last week
I went up, but now it has changed for me
because I have gone backwards.

Maori Language Week

Today I was playing Maori games because it is
Maori Language Week. Playing Maori games and
trying to learn the words was hard for me, but
hopeful I can get them right and talk Maori to my
friends. I try hard to learn another language, but one t
hat I haven’t learnt before because there are many
languages I can learn and so when I want to travel I can
understand them and talk to them.

Tongan language week

Today is Friday and four people in my class are dressed into there   Tongan clothes.
After all the classes are going to try a Tongan food and then going to watch the
Tongan kids dance and sing. There is a teacher Mrs Tuakoi and she has been teaching
the class how to say some Tongan words.

Using a net to make a cube

Today we have used a net to make a 3D cube.
There are six faces on this cube and twelve sides
and one more thing there is eight edges in each conner.
I had fun making this and hope that I will be able to make
it again, but a different shape like a triangle or a star.
