Finding the volume of a pyramid

This past week I had learnt how to find the volume of a pyramid.
I always had to know the formula because then I would know how to
mulitple and divided the numbers going through the problem.

Basic Facts Results

In my basic facts I don't stuggle with alot of things, it's that when I have to be on timed and instead of sheet I stuggle to remember the answers in my head and always counting on my fingers. Mainly when it comes to subtracting from 20 because of how fast the time goes and that most of the time when it has been marked I only get about 5 or 7 questions right, which is okay but i need to get 10 out of 10. I have to be on my curriculum level for my age and not a year 6 level. 

Algebra

Today in class on my table we had done alegbra for maths and wroked as a team. Algebra is where a shape or letter take the numbers place and has a number beind it. Algebra is also like a puzzle trying to find out the missing number, doing the activite all the cards had a question and a answer to it which we had to find. After finding the right pairs we had to show our teacher and put them in order so that we could take a photo.

Today I had played  a new and easy game and all I had to do was
long division but this time I had to do two digit numbers and it was easy
that I played this game for a while. But I was expecting an hareder one
like 3 digit.

Equivalent Fractions (2)

Today I had done well in this game called equivalent fractions
and when I had pressed the button check I only had to fix two
or three problem and put them in the right one. I even knew that
they were wrong because it would be highlighted so it was easy
to fix up.

One-Step Equations (2)

Today I had tried the game One-Step Equations racing game and this 

when I played it I think that it was the same still hard but I had only got 

two right and made a little bit of a improvement.

Times Table Test (5)

Today I had done times table test again and this time I had done
better because I had gotten one wrong and the rest right. But I would
have to pick other times table instead of 7 times table.

TImes Table Speed test (3)

Today I had done my times table speed test and when I did
it I was so happy about my results because I would get four or three
wrong but this time I had gotten only one wrong and felt like this
time was easy for be because I had a good morning.

Math trainer

When I had done math trainer it was had because there is no timer
but when you take your time your speed goes down just like the
one in this picture. I think next time I have to try and be more fast.

Decimals of the caribben

The decimals of the caribbean is an easy game to play because what you
have to do is just find the number of the word for example (e.g)  Thirty-Nine
then I have to find the number for it.

Collaborative Problem Solving

My friend and I had done a collaborative problem solving and we
had to find out answer for 4 question and when we done that we have
to make a DLO on it and rewrite the whole thing again.

E-ako math

This morning I was doing a e-ako and one of the things I did was like adding big numbers and getting the answer and then subtracting the answer to the number in front of the plus sign.

I have done a DLO for maths and with my friend Phoenix and I have found it easy to do a DLO with a buddy.

E-asttle results for term 3 - Strand and number

Strand: in T2 I had a 2P and now I have a 2A - Improved

Number: in T2 I had a 2A and now I have a 3P - Improved

Using a net to make a cube

Today we have used a net to make a 3D cube.
There are six faces on this cube and twelve sides
and one more thing there is eight edges in each conner.
I had fun making this and hope that I will be able to make
it again, but a different shape like a triangle or a star.

T3W1 Basic Facts

Today I have remained the same in my basic facts.

I haven’t made an improvement because I didn’t
learn more in the holidays

and didn’t ask for help at home.
What I have to learn to improve is my
maths is 1000s how I will learn them is
by going home and asking my
mum or sister to help me and I can
practice ever 3 times a week and
15 minutes learning.  

Basic Facts improved

In week three I got 40% in stage 5 , but in week 10
 I have got 61% on stage 6.

I am happy with my results because I have moved up a stage.
I have made effort in my learning by stage 5 to stage 6.
I have to achieve my 1000s and to get to within curriculum
level 3 in year 6.

In week three I got 40% , I have moved up on stage 6. In week 10  my results
were good because I have moved up a stage 6 and got 61%.

Baked bean with cheese toast

Here is a sandwich that could be made at home or at school. 
Enjoy and let it belt in your mouth because the cheese is like no other cheese. Thanks Mr. Steve for bringing all the ingredients for room 8 to make their sandwich. 

T2W3 Basic facts

I have remain the same on my basic fact test.
I will have to learn my basic facts so that I will
caught up to the other kids. What In my basic
fact I need to learn is 100’s, addition and subtraction.
I would ask my older sister to help me
because she is good at her maths.
We would learn and play maths games that
will help me move to the next stage six.
By the end of team two I would want to be at
stage six so that next team
I will be at stage seven.
